TUV NORD as an International Certification House
CMSE® - Certified Machinery Safety Expert is independently certified by TUV NORD. TUV NORD is an international certification house. TUV NORD selects 40 questions to be presented on the last day of training. TUV NORD awards the relevant certificate of competence upon achievement of a score greater than 80% in the examination.
TUV NORD Examination Results
Pilz sends participants notification of examination results. For attendees who do not pass, there is an option to resit the exam at a later date. These dates are subject to availability and will be arranged with the attendee, Pilz and TUV NORD. Once an attendee is notified that the examination has been passed successfully, they are entitled to use the CMSE® title. TUV NORD Certification can be used as proof of competence in the area of machinery safety.
TUV NORD Certification Renewal
TUV NORD require that certification is renewed every four years. This requires one day of training, during which, a review of the modification of safety legislation & standards, international best practices, and new safety technologies, will take place. Pilz will contact you, to advise when your certification is nearing expiration. This renewal is also certified by TUV NORD.
