Requirements
To ensure each candidate accepted for training meets the level of technical competence required to attend the training, sit the examination and achieve certification, prerequisite criteria have been set for CMSE®. Each applicant must fully complete an application form which gathers information on candidate eligibility. Only applications submitted on the official application form will be considered. The application form outlines the eligibility requirements and must be completed in totality by the candidate.
Eligibility for Attendance
Forms are assessed by following guideline requirements established by expert groups in the area of machinery safety and was coordinated with experts from Pilz and TUV NORD. Professional qualifications, previous experience in relation to machinery safety and current employment are all considered in your application.
The following are the minimum criteria which candidates must satisfy in order to meet the eligibility criteria. One (either or) of the criteria below must be met in order to be eligible to proceed with the training:
Criteria 1:
Long term professional experience and training in one or several areas relating to machinery safety e.g. technology, safety-related design and construction, safety-related maintenance and repair (5+ years).
Criteria 2:
Formal qualification(s) in the areas of General science, Engineering, Technology, Construction and Design, or Maintenance and Repair of Machinery from a University / Technical college where the training lasted two or more years.
AND...
At least one year practical experience in one or several areas relating to machinery safety, e.g. technology, safety-related design and construction, safety-related maintenance and repair.
